Q&A's Here are some answers to some questions you may have about the basic package: What is a Domain Name and Hosting? - A Domain Name is what people would type into their web browser to get to your website. (Example: www.your domain name.com) Hosting is where your website pages and files are stored for people to access your website. Is the Domain Name and Hosting cost included in the basic package price? - No, the $300 dollars for the basic package is only for setting up your domain name, hosting, and website. The cost of your domain name and hosting are not included. Where do I buy a Domain Name and Hosting? - We highly recommend Nameboy for your domain name and Hostgator for hosting. We feel they are the best services to use when setting up your website. You can view these along with other options on our Resources page. We will assist you in this process or can do it for you. What if I already have a Domain Name and/or Web Hosting? That is fine, we will need you to provide us with login information to upload your website and create email addresses. I do not have any pictures; will you come and take some for me? - Only if you live within 30 miles of Celina, Ohio. We will set up a time that works for both of us and come out with a camera.* You said something about content, what is that? - Content is the words, titles, paragraphs of your website. If you do not have content to provide us, simply provide us information and "keywords" about your business and we will work up some content for you to review and edit before upload.* How long will it take you to make my website? - It varies, but in most cases after we acquire pictures and content, we will have your website ready for your first review within 7 business days. What kind of website do I get for the $300 basic package? - I'll go over what is included again with more detail. Your $300 basic package website will include:
a HOME page - This is the first
page your visitors come to when they type in your Domain
Name into a web browser.
a ABOUT page - This page will
describe things like who you are, what you do, the history
of, and/or your mission statement in your business
a CONTACT page - This page
usually consist of your email address, phone number and
physical address for people to get in contact with you. (If
you use Hostgator for your web hosting, you can also have a
information form for your customers to fill out and the
information gets sent to your email.)
a PRIVACY POLICY page - a
general, broad and editable Privacy Policy for your website
that you can tailor however you wish before upload.
a DISCLAIMER page - a general,
broad, and editable Disclaimer, also known as a Terms of
Use, page for your website that you can tailor however you
wish before upload.
Up to 5 uploaded pictures - You
can send us up to five "High Quality" pictures of or about
your business to use when creating your website pages.
